Lindsey Steiro, BSN, RN, CEN

Lindsey Steiro, BSN, RN, CEN is a nursing instructor in the Associate of Science in Nursing Program.  She graduated with her PN in 2013 and ASN in 2014, both from Ozarks Technical Community College. Upon graduation, Lindsey began working in the Emergency Department at Cox Health where she worked until 2024. For three years of that time, Lindsey also filled the role of Clinical Educator of Cox South Emergency Department until she left her bedside and clinical educator role to focus on full-time academic education. Lindsey earned her Certified Emergency Nurse designation in 2016, completed her BSN at Capella University in 2022, and anticipates completing her Master of Nursing Education March of 2024.

 

Lindsey specializes in adult and pediatric emergency medicine and trauma, as well as mental health nursing. Despite leaving bedside emergency nursing, Lindsey continues to teach emergency and trauma specialty courses on an as-needed basis at Cox Health as she has done since 2019.
