Rebecca Caceres, CDA, RDH, MOL
Rebecca Caceres graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She worked as a registered dental hygienist in Indiana for nine years prior to moving to Springfield, Missouri in 2000 where she worked in a private practice for six years. In 2006, she moved to Managua, Nicaragua to serve as a full time missionary. She worked as a coordinator of medical/dental missions, healthcare education, and evangelism studies with Project H.O.P.E., Inc. She traveled the country serving as an oral healthcare provider conducting dental clinics in the rural and impoverished areas of Nicaragua. Rebecca joined the faculty of OTC in August, 2010 as a Dental Programs Instructor. She developed an opportunity for students to travel to Nicaragua and participate in an annual dental service mission trip. Rebecca accepted the position of Program Director in June, 2012 and enjoys the administration aspect of the program and instruction. She received her Master of Organizational Leadership from Evangel University in May, 2014. In 2018, the dental hygiene program won the inaugural Siemens-Aspen Community College STEM Award. The program received $50,000 used for program development and student scholarships. Rebecca also teaches dental expanded functions courses to the community through the OTC Workforce Development department. She is a member of the ADHA, MDHA, ADAA, ADEA, MCCA, and MOACTE.
