Katie Miller, BS, AAS is a Lead Simulation Specialist in the Simulation Center at Ozarks Technical Community College. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the University of Central Missouri and an Associate of Science in Nursing at Ozarks Technical Community College. Katie is a registered nurse and a member of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare.
Katie and her husband Steve have three children, two dogs, a cat, and raise beef cattle on a small farm in Springfield. In her spare time Katie and her husband enjoy spending time in the mountains, watch St. Louis Cardinal baseball, and chasing ballparks.
Katie’s favorite thing about simulation is that it provides real world situations for students to utilize what they have been taught in the classroom and gain practical feedback to better their career objectives.
