Jacqueline Hartman holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland OH) and a Master’s degree in Audiology from Washington University in St. Louis. She has additional graduate hours toward a PhD in Psychology (specialty: Gerontology) from Washington University. She has served on the OTC faculty since 2012.

Her clinical career began in the clinics at Central Institute for the Deaf and over the years she has served as staff audiologist for private hospitals, VA Medical Centers, private practice Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) physicians, and as a research associate at Washington University School of Medicine. In 1980 she established her own private practice, specializing in hearing instruments and she continues to work full time in that setting today, with two offices locations in St. Louis County.

She is past president of the Missouri Hearing Society. She has twice been appointed to Missouri’s licensing board, the Board of Examiners for Hearing Instrument Specialists, serving as their chairperson for two years. She holds a license as a Speech Pathology/Audiologist in Missouri, and as a Hearing Instrument Specialist in Missouri. She is a Registered Supervisor for Hearing Instrument Specialists in Training in Missouri. She maintains her Certificates of Clinical Competence in Audiology and in Speech Pathology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association, and she is Board Certified in Audiology from the American Board of Audiology.
