Donna Pritchard has been part of the HIT Program since 2011. Ms. Pritchard has taught or is currently teaching in the following courses: Introduction to Health Information Technology, Medical Terminology, Healthcare Quality Management, Health Information Systems, Comparative Health Records, and Organization & Supervision in Healthcare.
Ms. Pritchard is a Registered Health Information Administrator and a Licensed Practical Nurse. Ms. Pritchard holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Health Information Technology from Ozarks Technical Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Administration from the University of Cincinnati.
Ms. Pritchard’s experience and background include long term care, acute care, ambulatory care (specifically physician office setting), the insurance industry, and audit and compliance.
Ms. Pritchard’s’ professional association membership includes the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), Missouri Health Information Management Association (MOHIMA), and Ozarks Area Health Information Technology (OAHIMA). Ms. Pritchard has participated on the OAHIMA Board as President, Secretary, and Director of Education.
