Kristy Conner DNP, RN, MEDSURG-BC
Dr. Kristy Conner is an instructor in the Springfield Practical Nursing program. She graduated from Springfield’s Practical Nursing program in 2009, then went on to complete the Associate of Science in Nursing Program in 2011. After which, she earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri Kansas City in 2012. She completed her Master’s of Science in Nursing in 2016 at Western Governor’s University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2023 at Post University. Dr. Conner worked as an LPN and a RN at Mercy Hospital with medical-surgical and oncology patients before transitioning to the hospital’s education department. She is board certified in Medical-Surgical nursing. Dr. Conner started as an adjunct instructor for OTC in August of 2011 before becoming a full time faculty member in August of 2017.
