John Strickler

John Strickler is an instructor of guitar at Missouri State University, Drury University and Southwest Baptist University.  Mr. Strickler teaches MUS 150 (Guitar I) and MUS 151 (Guitar II) at Ozarks Technical Community College, and also teaches MUS 133 Guitar Fundamentals at MSU. In addition to his university responsibilities, he is the guitar instructor for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Springfield Missouri. Mr. Strickler has served as faculty at the Stan Kenton Jazz Camp, and the Ed Soph Summer Drum Camps. He was a Teaching Fellow at the University of North Texas, where he directed two jazz guitar ensembles and taught private lessons. He currently performs in trio, duo and solo situations in the Southwest Missouri area.
