George Cron
George Cron received a BFA in Theatre from Missouri State University and an MFA in acting from the University of Georgia. He is a professional actor/director who has directed numerous productions in almost every theatre venue in Springfield. Recent local productions include “The Turn of the Screw,” “Miranda,” and “The Complete Works of Shakespear, Abridged.” In addition to having taught college courses in acting, directing, voice and movement. George also coaches acting privately.
He has performed on stage regionally and Off and Off-Off Broadway in NYC. His film experience includes films directed by Woody Allen, Sidney Lumet and Martin Scorsese. He can be seen in two recently produced full-feature films; Broken Faith and Surrender.
George is a passionate teacher and mentor and takes great pride in the accomplishments of his former students, many of whom are now working professionally in NYC, LA and Chicago.
