Cara Griffin is an Instructor of Political Science and American Government in the Department of Social Sciences at OTC as of Fall 2021, after being an Adjunct Instructor since 2016. Mrs. Griffin holds a SHRM-CP, certified Human Resources Professional Certification, was a Springfield Business Journal 40 under 40 recipient, and has over ten years’ experience working in local government. In addition to teaching, Mrs. Griffin Co-Sponsors a successful student organization on campus known as Politically Active. Mrs. Griffin graduated with a B.S. in Public Administration and a Minor in Law & Society in 2007 and completed her Master’s degree in Public Administration (MPA) in 2009. Her research interests include public human resource management, local government administration and politics, and comparative public administration.
