Cindy has been involved in the education field for over 44 years. She served 25 years as a middle school mathematics teacher, is the former MO DESE Director of K – 12 Mathematics, was the Director of Learning for the LearnBop software company, and was the Greater Ozarks Cooperating School Districts Professional Learning Director.
In addition, she is the Past President of the Missouri Council of Teachers of Mathematics and former member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics Board of Directors. She is the recipient of the 1996 Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics Teaching.
She enjoys working with educators and pre-service teachers and continues to be involved in state and national professional organizations where she has presented at local, state, regional, and international conferences and events. Being a part of the OTC family and supporting students in their educational journey enable her to continue to support education and learning, both of which bring her much joy!
