The Culinary Arts program at OTC offers valuable education at a third of the cost of private culinary schools. Offering rich, hands-on learning experiences from industry veterans, including the opportunity to work in our on-campus restaurant, Scallions, the program prepares students for a variety of employment opportunities.
Foodservice is among the most competitive fields in the world, requiring patience, skill and a drive to succeed. This program will help you gain the knowledge and skills you need to find the job you want. Our instructors combine theory and classroom learning with kitchen demonstrations and hands-on practice.
The Culinary Arts Program gives students a fun and practical way to turn their passion into a career. We offer an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Culinary Arts and a Culinary Arts Certificate of Specialization. For each, students will take courses in food preparation, baking, food safety and more. The A.A.S. program provides students with well-rounded coursework while the certificate program is for students seeking skills for immediate employment..
This program is accredited by the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation Accrediting Commission (ACFEFAC).
