JumpStart: Math Workshop

Set yourself up for success this semester with JumpStart: Math, a free workshop designed for students enrolled in select math courses. Whether you’re brushing up on key concepts, sharpening your calculator skills, or learning effective study strategies, this event is your chance to build confidence before classes begin.

August 11 – 14, 2025

JumpStart: Math is specifically designed to support students enrolled in math courses that set the stage for future academic success. This workshop targets key skills and concepts from the following math classes:

MTH 110 – Intermediate Algebra

MTH 128 or 128S – Contemporary Mathematics

MTH 130 or 130S – Algebra for Calculus

Choose the format that works best for you:

In-Person: Attend sessions, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., on the Springfield campus led by the Tutoring & Learning Center. Breaks included.

Online: Complete the asynchronous online version at your own pace—perfect for busy schedules
