HOTEL & RESTAURANT MANAGEMENT
The Hotel & Restaurant Management program at OTC provides students with the tools and training they need to be competitive in the hospitality industry. Our instructors have years of industry experience and teach students everything from how to prepare a refreshing beverage to managing a restaurant or hotel. Some students will also have the opportunity to practice what they have learned by hosting members of the college community at our on-campus restaurant, Scallions.
We offer an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management. Students in this program will learn how to operate and manage restaurants and hotels, design and market menus for prospective customers, follow proper sanitation procedures and more. Courses include Dining Room Management, Hospitality Marketing, Bar and Beverage Management, and Catering & Sales Management. Our graduates find management positions at restaurants, bars, hotels and other dining and lodging establishments. Some even become entrepreneurs who use the skills they learn in this program to start their own businesses.
