Academic Honors Lists

OTC recognizes students for academic achievement. Honors recognition may be earned by both full and part-time students. Students who complete 12 or more credit hours will be eligible for the Chancellor’s and Dean’s lists. Students that complete less than 12 credit hours will be eligible for the Provost’s list. Courses below 100-level will not be included. Recognition is awarded for fall and spring semesters. The following criteria shall be used:

  1. Eligible students earning a GPA of 3.85 or above will be placed on the Chancellor’s List for the term.
  2. Eligible students earning a GPA of 3.50 to 3.84 inclusive will be placed on the Dean’s List for the term.
  3. Eligible students completing fewer than 12 credit hours and earning a GPA of 3.75 or above will be placed on the Provost’s List for the term.

Chancellor’s List, Dean’s List, and Provost’s List recipients can expect a certificate in the mail shortly after the end of the semester.  Congratulations, students! What an honor!
