Shrivastava serves as Vice President of Marketing for the PMI Southwest Missouri chapter. He was part of the team that initiated the formation of the chapter. After the chapter was officially formed in March 2010, Shrivastava served as Vice President of Marketing and Communications. In 2011, Shrivastava became Vice President of Marketing and has served since.
