Lee Lurvey is a proven professional with over 30 years of management experience in diverse business environments. For over 15 years, he has provided business management training in various industry environments and is also an instructor for APICS certification exam content.
In addition to sharing his education and experience through instruction, Lee owns his own business management services company. In 2021 he was selected to as both a key note and guest speaker at two Global S&OP Forecasting and Business Planning Summits.
Lee has previously served in roles ranging from President to VP of Supply Chain to internal consulting in both single and multi-site organizations. His responsibilities have included executing sales and operations planning, as well as coordinating new facility startups, shutdowns and consolidations. He has led business growth to include doubling EBIDA, reductions in manufacturing overhead, marketing and sales leadership, and development.
With his wide range of business acumen, Lee possesses the ability to assist businesses in a variety of matters. Execution of Supply Chain management principles is one of Lee’s specialties. He has demonstrated expertise in the implementation, training and management of:
- Cycle count processes
- Transportation optimizations and cost reductions
- Purchasing and contract negotiations
- Productivity improvement
- Guideing professionals in achieving their APICS CPIM certification
Lee Lurvey holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Drury University and is APICS CPIM (Certified Production and Inventory Management) and CLTD (Certified Logistics Transportation and Distribution) and CLT certified.
