Bob Sherman has more than 25 years of manufacturing experience in engineering, new product development, process development, lean, quality, facilities and industrial maintenance. He has successfully led plant manufacturing operations to increase productivity and reduce costs while maintaining and increasing product quality.He also has more than 12 years experience as a professional instructor and is considered a subject matter expert in industrial design, robotics, electronics, advanced electricity, metallurgy, motors and controllers, mechanical power systems, PLC, VFD, and automotive, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
Sherman is an excellent communicator and approaches teaching from a very hands-on perspective, incorporating practical labs into every one of his courses. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Missouri Science & Technology and is certified in lean manufacturing, quality, production technology, and maintenance.
