OTC Practical Nursing Program
The primary responsibility of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is to deliver direct patient care under the guidance of a registered nurse (RN), advanced practice nurse (APRN), or physician. This role emphasizes nursing duties that involve technical expertise and proficiency, such as patient care, administering medications, performing basic medical procedures, maintaining documentation and reports, overseeing nursing assistants, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team.
