Steve has over 30 years of construction experience and was an owner/builder of residential homes for over 30 years. He taught 7th – 12th grade students in construction, woods, welding, drafting and small engines for over 20 years. He began his career at OTC in the fall of 2018 teaching construction for both secondary and post-secondary students at the Table Rock campus. Other work experiences he’s had were working on the Valdez oil clean-up, working on a commercial fishing boat, the Alaska pipeline, and also in a bakery. His favorite part of the job is when a student doesn’t think that they can do a task or do a project, but finally gets it, “the light bulb moment”.
