Nathan Cassady

Nathan Cassady teaches communication classes including Public Speaking, Introduction to Communication, and Introduction to Mass Media. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with an emphasis in television broadcasting from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Missouri in 2003. Nathan worked in the television broadcasting industry for the local ABC affiliate while in college. He also did color commentary for college football and basketball for Missouri Southern State University’s television station for 2 years.  Nathan received his Master of Arts in Communication from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri in 2005.  While in graduate school, he worked as a teaching assistant for both the Journalism and Communication departments at Missouri State University. Nathan began teaching full-time for the college in 2009, and is currently the Lead Instructor for the Public Speaking classes on the main Springfield Campus.
