Adam is a Navy veteran with 10 years of experience as an Air Traffic Controller, during which he also taught new personnel. After leaving the military, Adam pursued a career in radiology, working in a cardiac catheterization laboratory. However, health challenges led him to reassess his path, prompting a transition into technology. Adam earned a Bachelor of Science in Technology from Capella University, which led him to focus on software development.

As a freelancer, Adam worked with a variety of programming languages and technologies, expanding his expertise to include a wide range of software solutions. During this time, he discovered a passion for building websites, which led him to find Stable Pug Solutions, a business specializing in web development, digital marketing, and custom software solutions. After stepping away from business ownership following 6 wonderful years, Adam shifted his focus to teaching, where he now shares his knowledge of software development with students, helping them build the technical skills necessary for success in the industry.

Adam’s professional interests include software development, project management, and leveraging technology to solve real-world problems, which he continues to apply both professionally and in his teaching. He is committed to fostering student success and staying at the forefront of technological advancements.

In addition to his technical expertise, Adam has a strong background in coaching. He has coached high school football, as well as youth football, baseball, and basketball, demonstrating his commitment to mentorship and leadership both in and out of the classroom.
