Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant Program at OTC (Ozarks Technical Community College) is specifically designed for individuals who aspire to pursue a career in the healthcare industry. As an integral part of the healthcare team, medical assistants are trained in various skills and play a crucial role in outpatient or ambulatory care facilities. This 16-week accelerated program aims to equip students with the necessary knowledge and proficiency to excel as medical assistants.

The program follows a hybrid approach, combining online learning with face-to-face interaction. Students will need access to a computer to participate in online lectures before attending in-person lab sessions. The class will convene once a week in the evening, ensuring flexibility for students’ schedules while offering a comprehensive learning experience.
