Lorraine Gardner has taught at OTC in the Adult Education & Literacy department since 2007. She began her teaching career in adult education as a volunteer literacy tutor at Metro Community College in Omaha, Nebraska (her hometown), over 30 years ago. Since then, Lorraine has taught classes for English language learners in community colleges and universities in Iowa and Missouri, and she also taught English and French at a hagwon (a private language school) in Jinju, South Korea.
Lorraine is a lifelong learner and always enjoys learning new things from her students and helping students to learn new things as well. She also enjoys technology, and she is always looking for new ways to incorporate the latest technology into her classes. Email, text, or stop by her classroom with questions or just to say hello!
