OTC ADULT EDUCATION

OTC Adult Education and Literacy (AEL) provides specialized instruction to help students build or refresh basic academic skills necessary for collegiate studies. We offer assistance in several areas including English language learning, preparation for the Missouri High School Equivalence Tests (HiSET or GED), and the post-secondary transition to higher education and employment.

Our classes are offered free to students through grant funding, and the courses are tailored to meet each individual’s unique needs. Our faculty consult with students individually to discuss their educational goals and then develop a lesson plan and determine which class will best meet the student’s needs.
