High School Equivalency Scholarships

Students applying for High School Equivalency Scholarships (HiSET) must reside in the OTC service area.

Interested students will be required to submit a copy of their HiSET scores along with a completed copy of the OTC Institutional Scholarship application.

$1,000 per semester full-time award
Award based on credit hours enrolled not to exceed tuition & fees:

*12+ hours    =   $1,000
* 9-11 hours   =   $750
* 6-8 hours     =   $500
* 1-5 hours     =   $250

Qualifications

Completed High School Equivalency Certification with 75 or higher
30 highest scores of those who apply will be awarded
Seeking a degree at OTC

Renewal Criteria

Renewable for 3rd and 4th semester for students who maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or higher at OTC
