The Diesel Technology Program’s mission is to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed for a successful career in the diesel repair industry. The program uses the Automotive Service Excellence Education Foundation national guidelines with the aid of a technical advisory committee to develop course content and a competency list that trains to be confident diesel repair professionals. Students learn how to repair and maintain large vehicles through small group practice in state-of-the-art laboratories.  Courses include Diesel Engine Repair, Diesel Brakes, Suspension and Steering, and more. You will also gain real-world experience during an internship project your last semester. We offer an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) and a Certificate of Achievement in Diesel Technology. The A.A.S. degree provides students with well-rounded coursework while the certificate program is for students seeking a faster path to graduation.

The Diesel Technology Program is accredited by the Automotive Service Excellence Education Foundation (NATEF).
