Become an auto repair expert by joining the OTC Automotive Technology Program. The program’s mission is to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to pursue a career as an automotive technician or similar position.

The program uses the Automotive Service Excellence Education Foundation national guidelines with the aid of a technical advisory committee to develop course content and a competency list that provides students with the expertise necessary to be successful in the automotive repair industry. Courses are taught by certified instructors who train students to diagnose and repair automobiles. Our instructors understand that auto repair is a service industry; in addition to enhancing students’ technical abilities, they teach them to be respectful and professional advisers for their clients. Students will leave the program having mastered the fundamentals of automotive system design and operation in hands-on classes such as Engine Repair, Brakes and Steering and Suspension. We offer an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) and a Certificate of Achievement in Automotive Technology. The A.A.S. degree provides students with well-rounded coursework while the certificate program is for students seeking a faster path to graduation.

The Automotive Technology Program meets the standard requirements of Automotive Standards of Excellence (ASE) and the Automotive Service Excellence Education Foundation (NATEF).
