I began my education career as a HS English teacher. I spent 10 years as a teacher before moving into an administrative role. In my last role as Assistant Superintendent with Clever R-V Schools, I lead the district in all areas pertaining to teaching and learning. I also worked on strategic planning, professional learning, Spending the last 11 years leading Curriculum, Instruction, Assessment, and Professional Learning efforts, has provided me with a strong foundation in instructional leadership at all levels. I am an adjunct professor for Lindenwood University, where I teach graduate courses on all aspects of teaching and learning, which has always been my passion.
I enjoy working with students, teachers and leaders. I value learning at all levels and enjoy providing time, and opportunities for continued learning for teachers and leaders. It is rewarding to work collaboratively to solve problems and develop creative solutions to improve the organization and enhance teaching and learning.
