Ozarks Technical Community College is committed to the concept of global education and to providing students with short-term study abroad programs that expand students’ learning opportunities, promote cultural development and career education and prepare our students for an increasingly global community. 1-2 week long faculty-led trips take place either during Spring Break or during the summer. These can be a complete course in themselves, or an extension of a semester-long course. OTC faculty have taken students to London, Greece, Egypt, China, Nepal, Australia and Nicaragua. Participants earn college credits while experiencing other cultures and gaining new skills and knowledge. Some programs are open to everyone, including the public, while others are only available for students in a particular program.
Here, prospective students can find out more about OTC’s current study abroad opportunities, and faculty can find information on creating new study abroad programs.
