Ozarks Technical Community College is committed to global education and to providing students with short-term study abroad programs that expand students’ learning opportunities, promote cultural development and career education, and prepare our students for work in an increasingly global community. OTC Study Abroad offers one-to-two-week-long faculty-led trips, which take place during either the spring or summer break. OTC faculty have taken students to London, Greece, Egypt, China, Nepal, Australia and Nicaragua.
These trips can be complete courses or extensions of regular semester-long courses. Participants earn college credits while experiencing other cultures and gaining new skills and knowledge. Some programs are open to everyone, including the general public, while others are only available for students in a particular program. Here, prospective students can find out more about OTC’s current study abroad opportunities, and faculty can find information on creating new study abroad programs.
