John Proctor began his journey in information technology during high school while attending electronics classes as part of the vocational training program. Obtaining a degree in computer networking led to various IT roles in the Springfield area. Joining OTC’s IT department in 2013, John specialized in server management, storage networking, and cloud system migrations as a Server Systems Administrator.

Transitioning to education, John became a full-time instructor in the IT programs in 2019 and currently manages the educational data center in the Plaster Manufacturing Center.

John is a technology enthusiast dedicated to sharing knowledge and shaping the industry’s future with students.
