Jim Bridwell began his professional career in welding in 1982 as a welder and fabricator. Eight years later, he began working in quality control at the shop he was working at, and in 1992, he passed the Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI) exam. In 1994, he began working at OTC as a part-time instructor teaching evening welding classes, going on five years later to become a full time welding instructor at OTC. Currently, he teaches Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Gas Metal Arc Welding, Flux Cored Arc Welding and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding.
