ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS
Power up your career by joining the OTC Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS) Program. Offered at the OTC Lebanon Center and Richwood Valley Campus, the program provides a hands-on, interactive learning experience for students seeking high-paying jobs in an industry needing qualified workers. Electric line technicians work in the field to fix power outages using a variety of specialized skills. In addition to restoring power, EDS workers also update existing systems and help construct new lines when the infrastructure needs an expansion. Our students learn how to climb wooden poles, operate equipment, build and maintain distribution systems and more. Our courses are taught by experienced instructors who will also help students obtain an apprenticeship after they graduate. We offer an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) that provides students with well-rounded coursework to make sure the students are ready for an entry level position in the field.
