Hybrid or Blended Delivery
The Ozarks Tech Associate of Science in Nursing direct entry program offers cohorts with two different delivery methods. In general, hybrid delivery involves a mix of online and seated instruction. This delivery method concentrates the in-person instruction at the beginning of the program and it decreases in frequency as the program progresses. Labs, clinical assignments are always in person. Hybrid cohorts are offered at both Table Rock and Springfield locations.
Blended cohorts involve more in-person/seated instruction which continues throughout the duration of the program. While there will be a distinct online component to this cohort, it will follow a more traditional delivery method with more instruction taking place on campus. Labs, and clinical assignments are always in person. Blended cohorts are only offered at the Springfield location.
Clinical assignments take place in Springfield, Branson and/or healthcare facilities in the surrounding area.
Advising Sessions
The program encourages applicants to attend a nursing information session to learn what it will require prior to and during the application process. We offer nursing program advising sessions frequently and no appointment is necessary.
