Transfer Course by Course
Students who have not completed either an Associate of Arts degree or the CORE 42 lower-division general education block shall receive credit at the receiving institution for each MOTR-designated course completed at a sending institution. They will receive full credit—including for any MOTR courses that serve as prerequisites or major/graduation requirements for native students. The student must then satisfy the receiving institution’s lower-division general education program (which may include completion of CORE 42 or its equivalent). The receiving institution may still require additional lower-division courses if needed to fulfill specific program- or institutional-level requirements.
Transfer a completed CORE 42 General Education block or Associate of Arts
Students who complete an Associate of Arts degree at a Missouri community college or who complete the CORE 42 at any Missouri public institution shall be considered as having met all lower-division general education requirements at the receiving Missouri public university. Students will receive full credit for all MOTR-numbered courses transferred, and if those courses serve as prerequisites or major or graduation requirements for native students, they will serve that same role for transfer students. The receiving institution may not require additional lower-division general education courses, although students may still be required to complete other lower-division courses to satisfy program- or institutional-specific requirements.
