heading for new process

Step 1: Find your “block” in the Proctored Exam Block Schedule and plan for your proctored event for your course.

Step 1: no changes – if the volume of in-person proctoring goes down because of ProctorU Auto we will be re-evaluating the block schedule, stay tuned…..

Step 2: Create your proctored event, in whatever platform you wish.  To ensure students who will use ProctorU have the lowest cost option possible, keep time limit for exam to a minimum.

Step 2: Create your proctored event, in Canvas, and activate the ProctorU Auto option. Pricing for students does not depend on exam time limit length or the date the exam is submitted to ProctorU.

Step 3: Fill out the Faculty Request for Proctored Event Form to share test details with OTC Online & Testing Services staff.  Submit at least one week in advance of test open date to keep costs down for students using ProctorU.

Step 3: No need to submit Faculty Request for Proctored Event form (with exception of MTH courses).  OTC Online & Testing Services staff have a new tool to access exam details in real time directly from Canvas.

Math Faculty please continue to use this form.

Step 4: If needed, wait until you get your Off Campus Proctoring Requests back from  OTC Online.

Step 4: no changes

Step 5: If needed, fill out a new Faculty Request for Proctored Event Form to adjust any parameters on your proctored event (due date, etc.)

Step 5: No new form needed – OTC Online & Testing Services staff have a new tool to access all exam details in real time directly from Canvas.
