The Praxis tests are examinations that measure the knowledge and skills necessary to become an educator.<\/p>\n
Registrations are made through the ETS Praxis website at https:\/\/praxis.ets.org\/<\/a>.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”15px”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_tta_accordion active_section=”0″ collapsible_all=”true”][vc_tta_section title=”What is the Praxis Test?” tab_id=”1637166380767-430d7fc0-4fcf”][vc_column_text css=””]The Praxis is a testing program designed to provide exams and other services to states for use in their teacher certification process. In some cases, the Praxis is used as an entry exam to education programs or as a university-required exams for student assessment. The Praxis Series consists of the Praxis Core Academic Skills, Praxis Subject, and Praxis Content Knowledge assessments.<\/p>\n The Praxis\u00a0Core\u00a0<\/strong>tests measure reading, writing and mathematics skills.<\/p>\n Praxis\u00a0Subject<\/strong> assessments measure knowledge of specific subjects that K-12 educators will teach, as well as general and subject-specific teaching skills and knowledge.\u00a0 Subject tests are usually taken by individuals entering the teaching profession as part of the teacher licensing and certification process required by many states.<\/p>\n Praxis\u00a0Content Knowledge<\/strong>\u00a0exams are designed for teacher candidates seeking a generalist elementary school license. Our location is in the Information Commons East (ICE) 123A. All ETS Praxis exams require a registration, scheduling, and payment process done through their website<\/a>.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Praxis Testing Registration” tab_id=”1637166874519-ee8736a3-6dc1″][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n **Individuals who wish to take Praxis exams at Ozarks Technical Community College must follow the Praxis Registration process listed here<\/a> on their website.**<\/p>\n Testing Services is located on the Springfield Campus ICE 123A.<\/p>\n 1.
