What is GED Testing?<\/h3>\n

The GED can help you achieve this important state-issued high school equivalency credential. You can find more information, registration, and scheduling at http:\/\/ged.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

GED Hours and Location<\/h3>\n

The Testing Services office at Ozarks Technical Community College conducts GED exams Monday – Thursday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.<\/p>\n

We are located on the Springfield Campus in the Information Commons East (ICE) building room 123A.<\/p>\n

You must register for your GED Account and schedule your exam on the GED website at http:\/\/ged.com<\/a>. We can only administer exams that have been pre-scheduled and paid for through the GED website; we cannot accept walk-ins.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n

GED Testing Registration<\/h3>\n

You can create your GED Account online at http:\/\/ged.com<\/a>:<\/p>\n

  1. Click on “Sign Up”<\/li>\n
  2. Enter the required information<\/li>\n
  3. Click “Create account”<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Note: When you create your GED account, the name you use to register must exactly match the name printed on your identification documents (excluding accents) that you will present on the day of your test at the test center. See Identification Requirements for more information at https:\/\/dese.mo.gov\/media\/pdf\/missouri-positive-identification-id-requirements-hse-exam<\/a><\/p>\n

    State Eligibility Requirements<\/h3>\n

    To take the GED exam in the state of Missouri, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:[\/vc_column_text][vc_tta_accordion active_section=”false” collapsible_all=”true”][vc_tta_section title=”Age” tab_id=”1449005127324-f7b0bfd8-c2f4″][vc_column_text css=””]You must be at least 17 years old to test in Missouri.<\/p>\n

    Missouri citizens (with a Missouri mailing address) less than 17 years of age interested in taking the GED\u00ae test\u00a0must apply for an age waiver by completing and submitting the\u00a0Missouri HSE Test Age Waiver Application<\/a>.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Residency” tab_id=”1719422478707-d356390c-a569″][vc_column_text css=””]You must have a Missouri mailing address to take the test in Missouri. You will be required to prove residency on the day of your exam. Please bring a government-issued photo ID with you when you test.
