As provost, Dr. Tracy McGrady acts as the chief academic for the college, overseeing faculty, curriculum, assessment and institutional priorities in support of the college’s overarching mission.
The Role of the Provost
The provost is the chief academic officer of Ozarks Technical Community College, responsible to the Chancellor for the college’s teaching mission. OTC appointed Dr. Tracy McGrady as the college’s provost on February 1, 2017.
Working with the deans, faculty committees and senior officers, the provost develops the institution’s intellectual priorities and oversees their implementation. The provost also engages with issues concerning admissions, financial aid, information technology and all other facets of college life touching on academics.
