Mrs. Jo Fritts – Instructor

Mrs. Jo Fritts began her career with OTC in 1997 as a teacher for the Early Childhood program. While working in Early Childhood, she also accepted the honor to partner with Middle College in its’ beginning days. She now teaches a variety of courses with Middle College and finds much joy in these extensive course offerings for her students.

Along with being a full time instructor, Mrs. Fritts also serves as an advisor for Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. In her time outside of the classroom, Jo can be found as a guest liaison for the Mystery Hour hosting the PARTY backstage during the live taping. Her work with the Mystery Hour has allowed her the opportunity to meet some amazing people from the Ozarks. She also has been trained in improv at the Skinny Improv.

She and her husband enjoy leading workshops on leadership and teamwork using improv as a framework for understanding and success. Mrs. Fritts also utilizes these techniques in her Middle College classes in hopes of making the information being taught applicable, fun and interesting. She currently lives in Springfield with her husband, a ridiculous number of beloved cats and the hippest 86 year old on the planet.
