Information Technology Infrastructure Associate’s Degree

Learn the basics of information technology infrastructure, while advancing computer skills already obtained in this hands-on program. Students discover the nuances of operating systems, learn the basics of network security and complete an internship during the program. As a Cisco Academy, OTC’s Information Technology Infrastructure program teaches comprehensive CCNA curriculum as a part of this lucrative degree program. Classes include Windows Client-Server, Network Communications and Cabling and the Linux Operating System.

Plus, this hands-on degree program is partnered with the following academies: Cisco Academy, EMC Academy, VMware Academy, Red Hat Academy and CompTIA Education Partner. Graduates of this program gain knowledge and learn skills to attempt the following industry certifications: CompTIA NET+, A+, Security+, Linux+ Cisco CCENT and CCNA. Upon completion, students receive an Associate of Applied Science in Information Technology Infrastructure.

Information Technology Infrastructure Certificate

For an expedited path to employment, students may obtain a short-term Information Technology Infrastructure Certificate. Classes include Introduction to Networking, The Linux Operating System and Computer & Network Hardware. Upon completion, students receive a Information Technology Infrastructure Certificate.

The mission of the Information Technology Infrastructure program at Ozarks Technical Community College is to provide its students with relevant, timely, and functional education to maximize options in employability, professional growth, and career success in IT-related fields. Typical entry-level positions may include; computer repair, systems administration, communications media installation, customer support, and any other roles. The department’s advisory committee guides development of curriculum and competencies that ensure the Information Technology Infrastructure program’s ongoing relevance and value to graduates and employers.
