HIS Admission Information
Application Deadline for the AAS degree and the certificate option:
- November 1 (spring start)
- Students must submit an HIS application and be officially accepted into the program to register in courses numbered HIS 110 and higher for the AAS degree. Refer to the Suggested Course Sequence for the list of pre-admission course requirements.
- Students interested in the certificate option must submit the HIS application to be released to register for HIS coursework.

Students will be requested at the time of acceptance to submit documentation for required immunizations and TB testing.
OTC cannot guarantee that students classified under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program will receive approval to take the licensure exam after program completion. Please contact the state or national agency that administers the professional licensure exam to inquire about licensure exam requirements.
