Angela Fuller graduated with a double major bachelor’s degree of liberal arts in Biology and Business Administration from Western Colorado University. She worked full time as a dental assistant for seven and a half years while she pursued her undergraduate work for dental hygiene. Angela completed her Associates in Dental Hygiene at Pueblo Community College in Pueblo, Colorado and graduated with honors in 2010.  Angela moved from Colorado to Missouri in 2014 and started working with a federally qualified health center in Richland, Missouri and found her passion for caring for the underserved population.  She worked in public health and ran the Preventative Services Program for the tri-county area’s Head Start facilities for 7 years, ensuring over 300 children were receiving a dental screening and fluoride varnish twice per year. Angela obtained her Restorative I and Restorative II expanded functions permits through the OTC Workforce Development Department. She practiced for 13 years as a clinical hygienist prior to joining the OTC faculty team in the summer of 2022. Angela has been an active member of her professional organization, the American Dental Hygienists Association (ADHA) since she was a dental hygiene student.  She has advanced through the ranks of the component and constituent levels, having served as President of the Missouri chapter as well as of the Colorado chapter and is currently serving on the national level of ADHA.
