Kelly Neugebauer, M.Ed, RDH, CDA, began her dental career after graduating with a certificate from Graff Vocational School. She then began working at UMKC School of Dentistry as a certified dental assistant. She continued her education at Missouri Southern State College and received an AAS degree in Dental Hygiene. Kelly has worked in a variety of dental settings, including general and periodontal dentistry, as well as her passion in community dentistry. Kelly put her love of community dentistry into practice at The Kitchen, INC., a homeless shelter in Springfield, where she opened and served as Director of the Dental Clinic.
Kelly furthered her education by receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Sociology and Master in Education from Drury University. In 1998, Kelly became the Director of Dental Programs at Ozarks Technical Community College (OTC) and continued in that role until 2007. During that time, she developed and worked with the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Missouri Dental Board, and Springfield Dental Association to open the dental hygiene program at OTC.
Kelly and her family moved to Colorado in 2012, where she worked as clinical dental hygiene faculty at the Community College of Denver. Upon her return to Springfield in 2018, she worked in private periodontal practice, before returning to OTC in 2019. She is very excited to return to the academic setting.
