[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”15px”][vc_cta h2=”Application Deadline”]June 15 (fall start) Students who successfully complete the program are eligible for Expanded Function Permits through the Missouri Dental Board<\/a>.\u00a0 Graduates are also eligible to sit for the Dental Assisting National Board Examination (DANB)<\/a> to become a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA).\u00a0 According to Bureau of Labor Statistics<\/a>, dental assistants will experience a much faster growth than the average job outlook.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”15px”][vc_column_text]The OTC Dental Assisting program is the only accredited dental assisting program in southwest Missouri that is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA), <\/a>a specialized accrediting body recognized by the United States Department of Education.
