Lisa Gardner came to OTC in August of 2003 from Hemingway’s Blue Water Café, (Bass Pro Shops) were she had been the interim general manager and past assistant general manager for a combined total of 13 years from 1987 to 2003.  During this time frame she also served as a regional director for Oxford Healthcare for 1 ½ years and carried a realtors license as a sales agent for Southwest Realtors for 10 years.  Ms. Gardner obtained her Bachelors of Science in Hospitality Management and Restaurant Administration from Missouri State University in 1988.

Ms. Gardner teaches on a limited basis in addition to her administrative duties including: Hospitality Accounting, Dining Room Management, Menu Design & Layout and Purchasing.  In addition she has taught interim Bar & Beverage Management, Catering & Banquets, Supervisor Management, Hospitality Marketing, Front Office Procedures, and Introduction to Hospitality.  Ms. Gardner also oversees the internship course for the department.
