Prior to joining OTC, Andrea spent two years working as a juvenile officer and thirteen years as a Probation and Parole Officer for the State of Missouri.

Andrea enjoys taking her students on field trips, so they can experience hands-on knowledge about how the criminal justice system works. She incorporates tours of the Springfield Police Department, Greene County Jail, Federal Medical Center, and Ozark Correctional Center into her classes. In May of 2018, Andrea took eight students on a study abroad program in London, England, to tour their criminal justice system. Andrea has a passion for teaching criminal justice and helping her students prepare for their career in the criminal justice system.
