Andrea Jones joined OTC in August 2014, as a full time Criminal Justice Instructor. She graduated from OTC with her AA degree and went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Drury University. Andrea is currently working on her Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership. Prior to joining OTC, Andrea spent two years working as a juvenile officer and thirteen years as a Probation and Parole Officer for the State of Missouri. She continues to volunteer at Ozark Correctional Center located in Fordland, Missouri.
Andrea enjoys taking her students on field trips, so they can experience hands on knowledge about how the criminal justice system works. She incorporates tours of OEM-911, Greene County Jail, Alpha House, Federal Medical Center, Ozark Correctional Center, Greene County Court and the United States District Court into her classes. In May of 2018, Andrea took eight students on a study abroad program in London, England, to tour their criminal justice system. Andrea has a passion for teaching criminal justice and helping her students prepare for their career in the criminal justice system.
