Clint Nurnberg is an English teacher for Middle College. He earned his Bachelor of Art degree in Journalism and Political Science at Miami University (Ohio). He worked the next four years at Bell Atlantic Mobile while living in the Smoky Mountains region of North Carolina. The inspiration to become a teacher struck Clint after he moved back to Springfield to be closer to his family. He was hired by Springfield Public Schools in 2000 and received a Master of Arts in Secondary Education from Drury University in 2002. He spent 13 years at Parkview High School, teaching a wide variety of English courses and participating in sponsor positions for the school newspaper and yearbook as well as coaching both the boys’and girls’ varsity soccer teams. Mr. Nurnberg, who joined the Middle College faculty in the fall of 2013, jumped at the opportunity to teach at OTC and focuses great professional time and dedication to the students in his classroom. In his free time, he enjoys being with family, coaching his children’s soccer teams, and fishing in the Ozarks’ rivers and streams.
